About us

Removing the mental from mental health

As advocates of mental health awareness and humans ourselves, we set out to encourage positive conversation and remove the stigma from the topic of mental health issues. We know there is a lot of support out there (especially in the UK via the NHS mental health system) but our aim was to create something that empowers people suffering from symptoms of mental health disorders and a lack of general wellbeing, to help themselves.

We do not profess to be specialists in psychological health, diagnosing mentality disorders or mental illness – we are simply here to provide a great selection of mindful wellbeing tools to help you TAKE 10, REFOCUS and FEEL BETTER.

What is mental health then?

People find it very easier to prioritise their physiological health, but your mental and psychological health is just an important. Think of it as your internal wellbeing; how you feel, how you think and how these thoughts and feeling make you behave.

If you neglect yourself, increase your stress and anxiety levels by overworking and overthinking, you will then experience negative physiological effects. With that in mind, your mental health should come first.

Woosah literally means, calm, time out, chill. This is exactly what we are encouraging. Take some time for yourself with the tools to help you do that. And alongside all the benefits, comes a little bit of fun too.

Why it’s ok to say, “I need help”!

We are all humans and we all have the capacity to reach breaking point. The statistics on mental health indicate further problems are on the rise, as we buckle under the pressure of our external environment. Stop! Take 10, Refocus, Feel Better.

When your mental health is suffering, it’s up to you to put up your hand and say, ‘I’m not ok, I need help.” Something as simple as 10 minutes undertaking an activity designed purely to help you be kind to yourself, might be all you need to reset and get back into a positive state of mental health.
